In the heart of the Cognac region, between Jarnacand Rouillac, Kylian Dixneuf has chosen to work in a vineyard on a human scale (12 hectares), to devote a lot of time to the development of his pineau and his cognac. Like the majority of Charentais winegrowers, he is in contact with a major merchant for the marketing of most of his harvest, but his passion for the profession has led him, for several years, to make bottling in the region. ‘exploitation (around 1000 bottles of Cognac per year and 7000 of Pineau des Charentes).

Originally from the same region and from a family of producers, Manuel Pereira moved to Luxembourg in 2007. His roots and his passion for Cognac naturally led him to create the Cognac Experience company, with his childhood friend Nicolas Merceron. Beyond his professional activity in the financial sector, Manuel likes to share his passion and leads tastings in companies or in private homes.

In the continuity of a very strong friendshipinitiated by André Dixneuf (Kylian’s father) and Guy Narfit (Manuel’s grandfather), Kylian and Manuel combined their passion and creativity to import authentic Pineaux and Cognacs to Luxembourg., produced in a traditional way and in the rules of Charente art.

Latest example: the limited edition decanter (300 copies), with a Cognac XO from the end of the last century!

The family business, nestled a few kilometers from the town of Cognac, operates 40 hectares of vines, located in the exceptional terroir of great champagne, 1er CRU, which gives birth to elegant eaux-de-vie. The only master on board, Patrick Drouet is a modern man of the “old school”, combining the best of traditional methods and new trends.

Whether it is the care of the vineyard, the harvest, the vinification, the distillation, the long aging in oak barrels, he devotes himself at each stage, surrounded by his team, to perfect the quality of the products that bear his name.

Produced in small quantities and distilled with great precisionand passion, Drouet Cognacs are expressive, sweet and perfectly illustrate the best that this spirit has to offer.

Today, Domaine Drouet is part of the circle of family houses which count, as evidenced by the numerous national and international awards won over the years.

Nicolas Merceron, co-founder of Cognac Experience with Manuel Pereira, did his first internships with Patrick before continuing his experience in a cognac house, as well as taking over the family vineyard. Beyond the enriching experience with Patrick, Nicolas maintained a great and long friendship with his mentor.
